“ Let me ask those who disagree with gay marriage: Why do you care how somebody else makes love? If there are two consenting adults, what business is it of yours? I know what some Bible verses say about homosexuality, and those verses are against it. But Jesus is strangely silent on the matter, and for Jesus, compassion trumps judgment every time. So regardless of whether you are religious or not, how can you deny full citizenship, and all the rights and privileges that go with citizenship? Way back when, we didn’t let women and blacks vote. Was that right? What does the Pledge of Allegiance say at the end? “With liberty and justice for all.” What part of “all” do you not understand?
